Bratislava, Slovakia – April 21, 2022 – Resco, the leading provider of enterprise mobility & management solutions, announced today that Andrew Lorraine has been appointed the new CEO of the company.
Andrew Lorraine, until now Strategic Partnerships Manager, will succeed Miroslav Pomsar and assume responsibilities on May 1.
The new CEO will continue to lead the organization in its mission of transforming work processes with enterprise mobility solutions.
“Enterprise mobility and cooperation with partners are at the core of Resco, and we agreed with the other members of the board that Andrew is the right person to develop and lead the company in this path. He has broad and unique experience, from both the business and technology sides of the market, which we believe will be valuable for our organization. We are confident that he will be a force in driving Resco forward and we’re delighted that he’s accepted the position.
I would also like to use this opportunity to sincerely thank Miroslav Pomsar for his years of commitment and hard work to bring the company the success it has today,” said Head of the Board at Resco, Radomir Vozar.
Andrew Lorraine has significantly contributed to the company’s development since joining Resco in 2016. In his previous positions, he has participated in complex projects and has accumulated a wide range of experiences, working closely with technical departments, business teams, and clients.
As the Strategic Partnerships Manager, Andrew Lorraine has led and overseen cooperation with Resco’s core partners like Microsoft, helping design business strategies for complex enterprise mobility challenges. He has been a vital part of the company’s successes, including the development of Resco’s core mobility products for Microsoft Dynamics 365, maturation of Resco’s Inspections solution, expansion of Resco Cloud platform projects, and advancement of MS Business Central, RealWear and Zebra integrations.
“I’m deeply honored for this chance to lead Resco’s next chapter. I’ve been fortunate to get know the Resco community – our problem-solving partners and customers, and the talented and inspiring people that make up Resco – through projects spanning the globe and tackling the key business challenges of digitalization. I couldn’t be more excited to work on all their behalf and continue Resco’s long history of making work outside the ‘traditional’ office more connected and efficient,” – stated the newly appointed Resco CEO, Andrew Lorraine.
Miroslav Pomsar has been Resco’s CEO for over two and half years. During his tenure, Resco successfully established and evolved products like resco.Inspections and the Resco Cloud platform and achieved remarkable business progress with the new Resco Field Service 2.0 mobility solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service. The company has expanded to over 130 employees and has established an organizational structure and processes essential for ensuring future company growth.
“I’d also like to thank Miro for his mentorship, curiosity, and leadership these past several years and for his many years of creating the technology behind Resco. I look forward to working closely with Rado and the Board in fulfilling Resco’s mission,” – Andrew Lorraine
