Advania acquires UK-based Microsoft partner Content + Cloud

Advania announced the acquisition of UK-based cloud specialist Content + Cloud, marking its first strategic acquisition outside the Nordic region.

Advania hopes to become more “future proof” with the addition of Content+Cloud’s Microsoft public cloud support team, they said in a statement.

Advania is a portfolio company of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Started in 1939 in Iceland, it is a large IT services provider in Nordic countries—and the combined organization with have 3500 employees and revenue of 10 billion Swedish kroner (about $1.1 billion).
