Technology services firm Enavate has acquired the US-based Microsoft Dynamics SMB business unit from Columbus.

The deal accounts for 50 Columbus employees and their 1,400 clients that use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, GP, and NAV. The Columbus U.S. SMB team members will join Enavate’s consulting, development, and sales teams, according to Enavate.

"This acquisition is a key milestone in our journey to attain the goals of our Vision 2024 - being the worldwide leader in the Microsoft Dynamics SMB space," stated Thomas Ajspur, CEO of Enavate. "This team is a great addition to our organization; invested in client success and empowered to make the decisions that ensure successful implementations.”

In September 2020, Enavate acquired SWP-Group, a Ukraine-based firm that provides upgrades, development, and outsourced services for Dynamics NAV and D365 Business Central.

Columbus grew its US presence when it acquired InterDyn BMI in February 2015 and Arizona-based Sherwood Systems in July 2015, which both added to their SMB market share.
