Microsoft Cloud Profile: Inspiring others to learn, contribute, and deliver Azure-based solutions

Microsoft Azure MVP Hansamali Gamage wants to inspire others to believe in the value of contributing to and learning from the technology community.

"I have learned so many things over the Internet by referring to articles, books, posts, and videos from others," she said. "When you share what you have learned, it's going to [remain] in your head for a long time—sharing is always best."

As technical lead for Netherlands-based Anywhere365, Gamage, who resides Sri Lanka, works with a team of software engineers on the company's solutions, which use a range of Azure services. She explained:

We are using lot of Azure services in our application development, such as Azure App service, storage, Azure compute and containers. Azure cloud services help to build modern applications for today’s world.

Nowadays everybody's talking about the cloud technologies and moving to a cloud platform from an on-prem server. A lot of companies like to invest time and effort for code rewrites or modern application development for existing applications with a cloud native architecture.

In the current situation across the globe, everything is online, and we see a lot of new IT companies and new applications released to the market everyday. So, there's a strong potential for organizations to grow their business with a cloud service provider like Azure.
