Ignite 2020: Microsoft pushes Power Platform deeper into developer territory

Microsoft's Power Platform toolset is getting new ways to work with Azure services and development tools. The company is announcing three areas of new investment at this week's Ignite 2020 virtual event, an event for the IT community.

Developers working with Azure API Management can now push custom connectors to Power Platform environments for use by Power Apps application builders. Developers can also "leverage Azure Functions … to distribute Power Apps in Teams," according to a Microsoft blog post.
