Avanade to acquire German Microsoft Dynamics 365 and AX partner Alnamic AG
Avanade, the services firm co-created by Microsoft and Accenture, announced that it has agreed to acquire Alnamic AG, a Microsoft partner specializing in Dynamics 365 and Dynamics AX.
Headquartered near Dusseldorf in Neuss, Germany, with a presence near Stuttgart, Alnamic has approximately 100 employees and specialises in Microsoft technology solutions in the manufacturing, IoT, wholesale, and distribution sectors.
According to Alnamic's site, the company was formed as a merger of two other firms, Avantgarde Business Solutions GmbH and Oboe Software. In addition to Dynamics ERP solutions, Alnamic offers industry solutions such as metals-AX®, Advanced Projects and BlueStar PLM. They also offer the internet of things (IoT) platform “e-ControlNet” and Microsoft Azure IoT services. Their target sector is medium-sized companies with an international orientation.
Avanade made the acquisition to strengthen its regional footprint in manufacturing and wholesale, according to an announcement. Alnamic employees will join the Avanade team in Germany.
“Alnamic has a strong reputation as a premier client partner and a track record of success, especially in IoT and customized Dynamics 365-based technology solutions for the manufacturing, distribution and wholesale sectors,” said Robert Goegele, Avanade general manager for the Austria, Switzerland and Germany region.
Avanade has 36,000 professionals in 25 countries and is majority owned by Accenture.
