Field level security in Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations
On Alex Meyer's Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations Blog, Meyer stated that although he's written about least privilege security in D365FO in the past, he hasn't yet covered one aspect of it – the process of setting up field level security in D365FO.
Entry point security in D365FO has changed slightly from AX 2012, simplifying security by allowing menu item access to drive data source access. Meyer had written about this in a previous post.
But if you want to be more granular than allowing access to a particular form, then field level security is the way to go. The idea of field level security is to restrict a users access to individual fields on a form.

Running an SSRS report from the selected record
On the NevoiTech Finance and Operations Blog, Moeen Ahmed Sultan examined the critical role off SSRS reports for users in D365FO as well as Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
Without this, business applications are incomplete. Moreover, running an SSRS report from the selected record of a form is very commonly required by the users.
You can learn how to run an SSRS report from the selected record in a form in D365FO and in Microsoft DAX 2012 here.
