As anyone following NAV in 2015 could guess, the release of NAV 2016 generated the most interest, but the year started with plenty of momentum following the introduction of NAV 2015, which solidified the NAV team's current approach to updates, enhancements, and alignment with the rest of Microsoft.

Make Way for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 (July 14, 2015)

The release of Dynamics NAV 2016 was the top Dynamics NAV story of 2015 according to our readers. The new version was notable for both its new capabilities in areas like reporting, financial management, "e-services", and workflow, its updates for developers and for its commitment to being an SMB ERP product that attempts to represent the ideals of the new Microsoft by calling on Azure, Power BI, Office 365, and Windows 10.

Interest in the release formerly codenamed Corfu was strong from the start of 2015, when we discussed a video that emerged of Microsoft officials presenting an even earlier preview of the new release back in November 2014 to a conference audience.
