Microsoft Dynamics GP Year-End Release 2015: W-2 Employee Self-Service
On the Microsoft Dynamics GP Support and Services blog, Microsoft escalation engineer Terry Heley talked about the ability employees to print and view their own W-2s, which first became available in the Dynamics GP 2015 R2.
Heley said this functionality also lets employers keep track of which employees have printed their W-2s and when the time is right print out the W-2s for the employees who didn't do it themselves. Employers can also print out the W-2s of the employees who did print out.
"All of this pulls from our existing year end tables, so another nice features is you own your data and control it. When you upgrade to GP 2015 R2, you can choose what years you want visible to your employees to print W-2s from."
