First Round of Microsoft Dynamics GP and NAV Pros Gain New Certifications

The Association of Dynamics Professionals (DynamicsPro) has announced the first 71 credentialed professionals for Dynamics GP 2015 and NAV 2015 following the inaugural round of certification exams that were offered at the recent Microsoft Dynamics conferences.

The exams and the resulting group of certified professionals mark the end of another milestone in the events following Microsoft's decision to end professional certifications for Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV, and SL professionals in August 2014, which was met with criticism at  the time. But many also felt that there was an opportunity to create new and improved certifications. In March 2015 DynamicsPro stepped in to fill the void, with support from Dynamic Communities, Inc.

The tests were written by exam committees that put in hundreds of hours to deliver the final product, according to DynamicsPro. As Mark Polino wrote recently:

"The Association of Dynamics Professionals (DynamcisPros) is working hard to make sure that these exams are done right. We had a professional facilitator to help us write clear, useful questions and ensure that they are timely and relevant."

The new certification exams will be available through Prometric testing centers beginning in early 2016. Onsite proctored exams will be offered periodically at select locations. A schedule of onsite sessions will be published soon.

You can find more details on the certification levels and see a list of the people who achieved the three initial certifications for GP 2015 and NAV 2015.
