Microsoft Alerts Dynamics Partners to Branding Changes

Microsoft is working to get its Dynamics ERP and CRM brands in line with the rest of the company, and that includes dropping the old "sail" images in its logos. It also means standardizing on a new look for Dynamics as product suite.

Partners have been instructed to use a new set of logos (above) when representing Microsoft Dynamics, according to NAV MVP Aleksandar Totovic. The details are in the Product Tile Usage Guidelines, he writes, which are available to those with access to PartnerSource.

We've reached out to Microsoft for additional details on the move and where else it might be seen in the future.

Another variation of Dynamics branding has started appearing on one its most prominent placements, its Lotus F1 sponsorship/partnership.

The team has added Microsoft Lumia branding to the Lotus F1 livery this year, and it has also added Microsoft's updated "four square" logo to the left of "Microsoft Dynamics" on the side of the rear wing, along with some Microsoft placements around the cockpit.

In the past, Lotus used the "sails" logo for Dynamics, as you can see below.
