Avanade acquires KCS.net

Global technolog and services firm Avanade has announced it will acquire KCS.net, a Switzerland-based Microsoft partner with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics AX, CRM, .NET, and SharePoint. The company serves customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

With the purchase, Avanade adds KCS.net's 300 employees at 16 locations. The company was named ERP Partner of the Year in 2014 by Microsoft Switzerland and is an Azure Circle Partner, as well as a member of the Microsoft Dynamics Inner Circle and Presidents Club.

KCS.net had made two acquisitions of its own since 2013 to grow to its current size. It merged with CRM and IT solutions firm Infoman in April 2014, which added 100 employees. The company also acquired the SharePoint specialist company HC Solutions IT in 2013.

Robert Goegele, Avanade general manager for the region, which includes Germany, Switzerland and Austria, said in a statment, "With KCS.net as part of the Avanade family, our clients will have access to a significantly increased on-shore expertise and track record in the areas of Dynamics AX and CRM. In addition, the .NET and Collaboration capabilities of KCS.net strengthen our practice in Avanade. When we combine this with our existing solutions and our near and offshore capabilities, we are uniquely positioned to help our clients realize even better business results."
