Scribe Online Platform Updated with New Visual Interface
Data integration solution provider Scribe Software has rolled out a new version of its Scribe Online Platform, featuring a new visual interface aimed at making it easier to deploy new cloud and hybrid data integration solutions, and to do it with less technical staff.
In the last two quarters the company has seen a notable increase in the bundling of integrations by its partners, says Scribe VP of product management Betsy Bilhorn. And Scribe executive vice president Peter Chase recently noted that over 50 percent of the customer excellence award winners at Convergence 2013 use Scribe's services.

Scribe based the UI of the new interface on the visual design environment developed by MIT called Scratch, which was designed to teach non-technical people how to program. The intuitive visual interface will help development teams complete tasks more quickly and repeatably with less-skilled resources, so they can focus on the more critical parts of projects, according to Bilhorn.
