RapidStart Services for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Availabile Now

The newest version of RapidStart Services for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 has been released to partners.  The tool is delivered as services deployed onto eConnect, with significant upgrades and changes to make it a more robust tool for day-to-day work.

According to updates shared with Dynamics GP partners, the tool takes a new approach focusing on "the life of a consultant."  It will enable multiple ongoing projects, the ability to save configurations from previous implementations in a library, and the ability to save work-in-progress that can be revisited later.  It will also add flexibility to tracking the order in which the features are used, taking into account the fact that a consultant may input different information at unpredictable times, not always in the same order.

RapidStart for GP 2013 also includes a Migration Tool intended to aid consultants in verifying compatibility with specific versions of QuickBooks and Peachtree:

  • Intuit QuickBooks Pro (2003-2013), Premier (2003-2013), and Enterprise (3.0-13.0)
  • Sage Peachtree (2009-2013) versions of Pro, Complete, and Premium, and Sage 50 2013

As always, Microsoft Excel interfaces into RapidStart, allowing you to bring data from any other application that you can then push into Excel, manipulate and massage as necessary, and then import it directly into Microsoft Dynamics GP.
