Microsoft Dynamics Business Analyzer for Windows 8

For those wondering where Business Analyzer for Windows 8 had gone, now we have an answer - it's in the Windows Store as a Windows 8 app.  Microsoft quietly launched the Windows 8 app over the weekend, as NeoWin notes. Business Analyzer, as released, can display reports for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, GP 2013, and SL2011 FP1 through connection to SQL Reporting Service. The TechNet library page offers more compatibility and system information details.  

The app allows for the adding of reports by role, as well as permissions to copy and edit reports. Users can also open Microsoft Lync Windows 8 edition from a report to initiate a conversation with someone about the report.
