NAVUG Forum 2012 Prep Under Way with New Tracks, More Attendees Expected

There may be a lull over the summer for Microsoft Dynamics conferences (setting aside WPC, of course) but  they'll be picking right back up in the fall.  For NAVUG, their October Forum 2012 in Seattle looks to be the biggest in terms of attendees - they're on track for 300 - and new content to keep up with the changing trends and the major new release of NAV 2013.

NAVUG Forum 2012 will offer users new tracks to address changing trends in the Dynamics NAV space.  One of those tracks, obviously, will be focused on Dynamics NAV 2013.  Microsoft managers, including longtime supporter Todd Bergeson, will be on hand to answer questions and run sessions

The other interesting new addition, according to NAVUG director Trish Boccuti, is a global finance track.  "We have noticed that  a lot of US-based companies are starting to deploy to their international subsidiaries," says Boccuti.

Another difference at this year's event - more separation of NAVUG Forum from the three other simultaneous events  going on in Seattle.  This is a good thing, says Boccuti.  "They want to be around other NAVUG members, not sitting down to meals to find they're at a table of GP and AX people," she says. 

There are other events planned for attendees around the UG conferences this year, taking advantage of the Seattle location.  Look for a 5K run and  a Microsoft campus tour for attendees, along with other events.  And early bird registration rates are in effect through tomorrow, June 29.
