Scribe Software Strengthens Management Team to Scale Operations as More Organizations Seek an iPaaS to Accelerate Integration

Industry Veteran Bob Zurek Joins as CTO of Connectivity; Christian Danish Joins as Director of Operations

MANCHESTER, NH--(Marketwired - Feb 9, 2016) - Scribe Software, a global data integration leader, today announced the appointment of Bob Zurek as the company's CTO of connectivity, and Christian Danish as director of operations. The two senior executives will help the company scale to meet sharply increasing demand for Scribe's integration platform as a service (iPaaS) and on-premise integration platform.

"Last year, interest in Scribe Online increased dramatically as more organizations sought a cloud-based platform to integrate their SaaS applications to their core enterprise systems," noted Shawn McGowan, CEO of Scribe Software. "In 2016, Bob and Christian will play a central role in our plan to further improve our cloud integration platform and scale our operations, including increasing the number of connectors in the Scribe Online marketplace, extending the integration lifecycle management benefits we offer and expanding the applications of the Scribe iPaaS."

In a newly created role, Zurek will lead efforts to expand and build out Scribe's innovative connectivity capabilities for the company's award-winning iPaaS offering. Building on the 2015 release of the Fast Connector Framework and Scribe's growing list of technology partners, Zurek will ensure that Scribe Online provides deep and robust connectivity to new software as a service (SaaS) applications as SaaS providers, systems integrators (SIs), value added resellers (VARs) and enterprises find additional ways to use an iPaaS to accelerate integration projects. In addition, Bob will extend the capabilities of existing Scribe Online connectors to make it easier to create, run and maintain integrations with CRM, ERP and other applications.

Zurek comes to Scribe from Epsilon, where he led the product technology, product management and marketing organization as senior vice president for the company's product line. Prior to Epsilon, he held executive technical leadership positions at Oracle, Endeca, IBM, Ascential Software and Sybase.

"Customers and partners in the cloud era demand instant, deeply functional and agile connectivity for a diverse set of SaaS business applications," said Zurek. "Scribe Online offers dramatic connectivity advantages in areas including ease of use, deep support for metadata, speed of developing integrations and streamlining integration lifecycle management. I really look forward to helping Scribe further expand the platform's capabilities and reach in order to meet the growing demand of our partners, customers and new and growing SaaS applications."

Danish takes on another new role at Scribe as director of operations; a role which charges him with optimizing the company's business processes as demand for Scribe's integration platforms accelerates. Danish will use his deep technical and business background to improve processes and efficiency as Scribe continues to increase its growth rate. He will also take on critical responsibilities in bettering Scribe's integration products by improving the process for capturing product feedback from internal and external stakeholders.

Danish joins Scribe from Newmarket International, where he served in a number of leadership roles within the product management, technical sales and development organizations, including acting as the director of sales engineering and product management. Prior to that, he worked at ManagedOps and Tessera Enterprise Systems in technical roles that developed his knowledge of SaaS and CRM platforms.

"Scribe is already a trusted integration provider for 14,000 customers and partners due to its exceptional products and emphasis on successful customer outcomes," said Danish. "But what really impressed me about Scribe was its recognition as being the easiest iPaaS vendor to work with and its commitment to extending that reputation as we move into 2016 and beyond."

Zurek holds a Bachelor of Science from Keene State College. Danish holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Decision Science and Engineering Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
