Brian leads Vena’s global commercial relationship with Microsoft, bringing over 30 years of experience in the Microsoft ecosystem. His career includes 15 years at Microsoft, where he led high-performing sales and services teams, followed by more than a decade managing strategic alliances for leading Microsoft ISVs. He also spent two years running his own consultancy, helping new partners successfully navigate and launch within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Brian’s journey began when a Windows for Workgroups license came with a network card and technical mastery meant a perfectly configured himem.sys file. Since then, he’s witnessed—and helped shape—the evolution of the Microsoft stack: from the early days of bundling Office apps, to the rise of Azure, to the era of Copilot and generative AI. Having worked through all three Microsoft CEOs, Brian brings a unique long-view perspective on how Microsoft’s innovations impact partners, customers, and industries.
