Sunrise Technologies announces Sunrise 365 Smart Allocation

Sunrise Technologies, a provider of Microsoft business applications, has launched Sunrise 365 Smart Allocation.

Using Microsoft Dataverse, Power Platform, and Azure Synapse, Sunrise 365 Smart Allocation takes data from a company's existing ERP system and performs advanced "what-if" calculations to help the organization adapt to changes in demand and supply and quantify the impact to its financials, according to the company.

Sunrise 365 Smart Allocation is built to analyze supply chain resiliency and aims to help companies identify supply chain problems before they occur. Smart Allocation calculates the optimal spread of goods based on demand priority and time-phased supply.

The software works with any ERP system. Companies can connect their ERP systems into Azure and Sunrise 365 Smart Allocation will analyze their supply chain position and render the results in Power BI, the company said.

BCN Group completes strategic acquisition of CMI

BCN Group has acquired NewCMI, a managed service provider and Microsoft solutions partner. The acquisition boosts BCN's presence in the South East of England and Northern Ireland. This is the second acquisition since ECI Partners invested in BCN in 2022, following the purchase of Dynamics 365 specialists, Evo-soft in September 2022.

"CMI's complementary product and service offering allows us to increase our Microsoft customer base and strengthen our team of technical experts," said Rob Davies, CEO of BCN Group. "Importantly, the acquisition means we can take our combined technical capability to the next level, further establishing BCN as a key player among UK managed service providers."
