In new webcast, Microsoft Dynamics CRM CVP Bob Stutz discusses a vision for game-changing CRM

As the corporate vice president for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Bob Stutz wants to pick up the pace of innovation, and he believes other tools in the Microsoft product lineup will make it possible to transform CRM into a new kind of customer-focused, more usable solution­­­--something that doesn't yet exist.

In a webcast last week hosted by DynamicsCafe, Stutz spoke about his vision for CRM, why he wanted to bring his leadership to Microsoft, and how he plans to change Dynamics CRM into a new solution that is, in his words, "about building a different kind of CRM in a world [focused] around consumerization".

The question and answer format of the presentation gave Stutz the opportunity to comment on a range of topics during the one hour session. Among the topics were the potential to change the delivery of MarketingPilot's marketing resource management (MRM) and automation capabilities, the Dynamics CRM roadmap, the product's place in the larger Microsoft product line, social CRM, the product's release cadence, collaboration tools, device experiences, and more.

The goal, said Stutz, is to continue to take the core capabilities of Dynamics CRM, along with other Microsoft products and third party acquisitions like NetBreeze and MarketingPilot, and to bring these technologies together in an integrated way "to do things in a single system that [customers] have never been able to do [before]... If you look at the capabilities we get from NetBreeze, you can do financial viability. You can define what you want to analyze, which is very different from what our competitors do."
