Microsoft has rebranded Dynamics 365 Talent as Dynamics 365 Human Resources, effective in February 2020, with plans to re-focus its product roadmap toward HR and away from the talent and hiring related needs that LinkedIn also offers.

"The new name reflects our commitment to helping HR professionals create data-driven programs that improve the employee experience," wrote Laurel Reitman, general manager for Dynamics 365 Human Resource (D365HR). Those areas of focus include compensation, benefits, leave and absence, compliance, payroll integrations, performance feedback, training and certification, and self-service programs.
