CPI Packaging Inc. Selects Business & Decision for ERP Integration

CPI Packaging Inc. has selected the business and technology consulting firm Business & Decision (B&D) to implement Microsoft Dynamics AX.

CPI, a protective packaging manufacturer had outgrown its current system, a mix of manual and automated processes and was looking for an ERP solution that would provide insight into their business based on actual production costs, prevent delayed data collection, increase efficiency among departments, and integrate seamlessly between forecasting, requisition, and production planning.

B&D will implement Dynamics AX 2009 using the Rapid Sure Step Approach, which accelerates implementation, while lessening stress on CPI's day-to-day business.

"This system selection is one of the most important investments we will make in the coming years," said CPI Packaging's CEO, Joe Mormando, in a statement. "We are eager to utilize the technology to improve our operations and, ultimately, service our customers in the best, most efficient way possible."

LINKFresh to be deployed at QV Foods

QV Foods has selected Anglia Business Solutions' Microsoft Dynamics based LINKFresh Business Management suite to manage its potato and vegetable growing and packing operations.

The LINKFresh solution will be deployed at QV Foods UK headquarters as well as across QV and related companies Fresh Approach Produce and Europa Produce. It will link to Pseedco Ltd, which already operates on a Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform and includes the company's other UK sites.
