Armanino Launches Warranty Management, Product Repair Module for Dynamics CRM

Microsoft partner Armanino LLP, provider of integrated audit, tax, consulting services and technology has rolled out a Warranty Management and Product Repair solution for Microsoft CRM 2011.

The application monitors and manages standard manufacturing and extended warranty contracts; return material authorizations when products are returned for depot repairs; and field service so technicians cab make repairs at customer premises, according to company officials.

The new release adds to Armanino's Certified for Microsoft Dynamics (CfMD) suite of industry modules, which include a number of pre-configured add-ons for technology, manufacturing and distribution companies, officials said.

Additionally, medical device and life sciences companies can use the solution to enable complaint management tracking and support, using the "Corrective and Preventative Action process, said Scott Mangelson, Armanino's CRM practice leader, in a statement.

Mangelson said the solution is aimed at satisfying FDA documentation requirements about complaints related to medical equipment or life sciences products, including failure and root cause analysis.

"Clients who use this solution to automate their FDA compliance create a more efficient and more accurate process for what would otherwise be a labor-intensive compliance activity," he said.
