Microsoft Dynamics GP Year-End Release 2014: Fixed Assets

On the Dynamics GP Support and Services Blog, Adam Gaber, Microsoft Dynamics GP Senior Support Engineer, remind us the end is nigh - well, the end of 2014, least - and it's the perfect time to discuss closing the year in Fixed Assets.

Year-end updates include an update to the Luxury Auto Maximum Depreciation Deduction amounts, he notes. And Gaber offers some other things to keep in mind when closing the year in fixed assets, like the fact that you have to do it for each book you have set up. Another recommendation:

"We recommend you close the Fixed Assets year after you close the year in Payables Management but before you close the General Ledger year."

Printing BOM Notes on Reports
