Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 and NAV 2013 are now officially available from partners in Windows Azure, Microsoft announced today.

Dynamics ERP senior director Paul White explained that companies that run Dynamics GP or NAV in Windows Azure are using Azure Infrastructure Services:

"From a technical perspective, what we've enabled is the ability for Microsoft Dynamics Certified Partners to deploy Microsoft Dynamics NAV and GP solutions in the cloud on Windows Azure Infrastructure Services. This means your solution can now be hosted in a secure, private cloud on a Windows Azure Virtual Machine. End users can access the solution using Web or desktop clients, either from the office or on the go using mobile device"

White also stressed that running Dynamics GP or NAV on Azure will require no changes to the partner model and will not get Microsoft directly involved in selling these products. White writes:

"This is because we remain deeply committed to the industry and regional expertise our partners bring to every customer engagement, and to giving our customers the broadest possible range of choices in terms of partner selection, pricing and licensingdeployment options, hosting providers and more."

Initial go-live customers include Graphical Production Facilities (Denmark),
