LinkedIn announced plans to launch LinkedIn Sales Insights (LSI), a new solution that provides added data and insights on sales opportunities.

The product, which is planned for general availability in February 2021, is focused on the sales operations role's need for a broad and up-to-date view of opportunities over time, stated LinkedIn vice president of product management Lindsay Edwards in a new blog post.

LSI draws on data from across LinkedIn's user base to provide data like "the size and fast-growing nature of specific departments, functions, and accounts" along with "the lens of relationship strength and connectivity" to help sales operations teams optimize the sales team's focus. The solution allows for the assignment of territories and books of business to organize accounts based on LinkedIn data.

LSI offers a two-way integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365, said a spokesperson.
