BREAKING: Bob Stutz Departs Microsoft; Jujhar Singh to Lead Dynamics CRM Team
With Microsoft on track to launch Dynamics CRM 2016, news comes tonight that CRM chief Bob Stutz has left Microsoft. Taking over leadership of Dynamics CRM will be Jujhar Singh, his long time R&D lead.
In an internal memo to Microsoft staff (full text below), Scott Guthrie, head of the Cloud and Enterprise (C+E) group, told employees that Stutz has "made the decision to leave Microsoft to pursue new opportunities" after doing "a great job leading the Dynamics CRM organization over the last 3.5 years."
Early word from a Microsoft partner is that Stutz's leadership, while clearly taking Dynamics CRM in a positive direction, has been lacking in terms of personal connection with the community. By contrast, Singh has developed a reputation for building a strong relationship and is well respected in the community for his abilities, passion, and involvement.
