Women Find Tech Career Opportunities in the Microsoft Channel, Part 2

Women working in the software and IT services field still face unique challenges, such as a lack of role models and persistent biases in performance ratings. But as we saw in Part 1 of this article, many women enjoy satisfying and productive careers in technology, and particularly within the Microsoft partner channel.

The three women below, who were profiled in the Microsoft-published ebook (download required) 12 amazing tech jobs and the women who rock them, discuss their career paths, and the challenges and rewards of working in the channel. 

  • Colleen Alber is a product evangelist with Hyland Software, Inc., the company behind Onbase, an enterprise content management solution.
  • Nadia Isata is Vice President of client development of IOTAP, Inc., Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Isata joined IOTAP in that leadership role just after her interview with MSDynamicsWorld.
  • Abby Moore is a project manager with I.B.I.S., Inc., a Microsoft Dynamics strategic development partner.
