Why the Expanding Power of Integration Gives Added Oomph to Microsoft Dynamics As the ERP Solution of Choice

It seems almost trite to say it, but we are rapidly heading toward an integrated world. We live in a world where there are huge amounts of change are occurring everywhere around us - the way we work, play, socialize, and even spend the rest of the day.

I got my new Windows 7 mobile recently - the device can send emails, help me with my daily to-do lists, connect with my friends on Facebook and, of course, let me do the basics - call people on the phone. What a marvelous integrated world around us. Therein lies the opportunity - connect and discover the new way of doing things.

When I dig in the realms of software applications, and in particular ERP, I still feel most of the customers struggle to find the real value. They spend much time understanding the ERP software (though Microsoft Dynamics scores far better in terms of user adoption against competition), the structured way of working and high implementation costs in making the software work for them.

ERP solutions need to also evolve, so they integrate with other customer-friendly applications like Microsoft Office, mailing systems or even specialized ones like project management tools, SharePoint, and so forth to provide real value. Microsoft Dynamics again fares well, as it can integrate well with other Microsoft systems. It can present fantastic value to customers in terms of user friendliness via an integrated environment.

Here are some examples to articulate the point further...I know of a project management company in New Delhi (India) that provides services to construction/infrastructure companies so theyh deliver their projects on time.
