Tech Mahindra Partners with Microsoft to Open a Dynamics CRM Lab for Telecom Service Providers

Tech Mahindra announced it has entered into an alliance with Microsoft to offer customized Microsoft Dynamics CRM capabilities for telecom service providers.

As a part of the initiative, Tech Mahindra, a global systems integrator and business transformation consulting organization, has launched a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Lab in Noida, India. The CRM lab is first lab in India to focus on providing CRM offerings to telecom service providers globally, according to company officials. Tech Mahindra said the lab will provide live demonstrations of Dynamics CRM for prospective customers; showcase the lab for client sales and solutions teams; provide a training ecosystem that will create a resource pool for future requirements; and serve as a product incubation center for customized offerings. The solutions developed in the lab will be cloud-enabled on the Microsoft Azure platform, according to the company.

"As a global player with a strong foothold in the telecom ecosystem, Tech Mahindra is pleased to work with Microsoft," said L Ravichandran, President, IT Services, Tech Mahindra, in a statement. "Together we will help understand customer needs and enable telecom companies to service their customers better, helping us to move from customer care management to product management."

Jim Dietrich, Industry Managing Director, Communications Sector, Microsoft, said the new lab is the result the commitment of the two companies to bring their expertise and customizable solutions to the telecom sector, which represents over five billion subscribers and "demands world class support systems that will drive business growth."
