Salentica Inc., a provider of Salentica CRM, an enhanced version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, for wealth managers, has teamed up with Schwab Intelligent Technologies to offer the Schwab OpenView Gateway for both Salentica CRM and Microsoft Dynamics CRM users.

The Schwab OpenView Gateway for Microsoft Dynamics CRM links financial/brokerage account information from Schwab Advisor Center within Dynamics CRM. That means users can access real-time account balances, positions, transactions, alerts, account profiles and account documents including statements, trade confirms and tax documents - as well as synchronize Schwab account records with Dynamics CRM, according to company officials.

The new app will offer the benefits of integration to more advisors who custody assets with Schwab, especially those who use customized versions of Dynamics CRM, according to Brian Shenson, vice president of technology solutions for Schwab Advisor Services.

Roger Sharp of Roger L. Sharp & Associates said integrating the custody data into the CRM will bring together information his staff needs to know about theirs clients in one location.

"We can [then] respond quickly to client requests, which ultimately lets us deliver better service," he said in the statement.

Salentica has adopted eight Schwab workflows currently available for Dynamics CRM produced by Schwab Intelligent Technologies. The Schwab OpenView Workflow Library offers 28 universal workflows, built to enable advisors to make better use of CRM solutions, company officials said.

"Providing a convenient and easy to use system is critical for a wealth management CRM," Rourke said.
