Microsoft Partners in Singapore Team for New Azure and NAV-Based Bundle for SMEs

A group of four Microsoft Dynamics Gold Certified Partners in Singapore, including IBIZ Consulting Services, MSC Consulting, DP Technology and SaaSplaza have collaborated to offer Red Dot ERP, a cloud-based business solution packaged specifically for small and midsize enterprises (SMEs) in that country.

Red Dot ERP is based on an integration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Office 365, running on Microsoft's Azure cloud platform in Singapore, according to SaaSplaza officials. SaaSplaza is a global Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), with operations in APAC, North America and EMEA.

"The goal for the bundled offering is to capture the SME and midmarket just in Singapore, hence the name ‘Red Dot,'" says Herb Prooy, SaaSplaza APAC Director. "Singapore is often referred to colloquially as the ‘Little Red Dot' because of its physical size and location next to such large neighbors."

The cloud-based bundle is necessary, said the four companies in a statement, given Singapore's highly competitive business climate wherein SMEs are constantly challenged to operate more efficiently as well as cut costs to stay relevant.

Starting at a subscription fee of about $64 (SGD $99) per user per month, the service includes financials, supply chain, and sales management, access to the latest Microsoft Office tools, OneDrive and SharePoint, Skype for Business, and Yammer.

As for how the companies came together, Prooy says the alliance was led by Microsoft Singapore and SaaSplaza.
