Global spend management platform Payhawk continues momentum with new strategic hires

Global spend management platform Payhawk has announced several new appointments, new partnerships, product expansions, and hiring across numerous markets.

Bolstering its executive team are Gareth Walsh as group chief compliance officer and Maor Fishman as general counsel, according to the company. Walsh brings strategic leadership and extensive regulatory knowledge from previous roles, such as CEO of SumUp.

Fishman joins from a different fintech, Checkout.com, where he was deputy general counsel focusing on financial services regulations and data protection. Their combined expertise in strategic leadership, regulatory frameworks, data protection, and financial services will be key to guiding Payhawk’s continued expansion, the company said.

In addition, Payhawk now features a native Microsoft Dynamics integration, with over 40 joint customers since it became part of the Microsoft partner program and launching their Microsoft AppSource listing.

FiveP enters agreement with Findex to divest its Microsoft business applications practice, split its product and services businesses

The Microsoft business applications practice of FiveP, an Australian provider of digital products and consulting services, is being acquired by Findex, a privately owned financial advisory.

With this transaction, all of FiveP’s existing business applications customers and the 13 staff members from this department will join Findex, according to the companies. When the transaction is completed, FiveP and Findex will continue to operate in partnership.

"We’re excited to continue our partnership with Findex to deliver our mutual customers Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 solutions to link people, data, and processes to unlock innovation for businesses," said David Dennis, CEO of FiveP.
