Segrest Farms Goes Live with Dynamics GP

I.B.I.S. Inc., has completed a successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics GP for Segrest Farms, a large wholesale ornamental fish distributor.

After outgrowing its previous software, Segrest Farms was looking for an ERP system that offered more flexibility and would accommodate a fast-growing company with more and more users, according to company officials.

Segrest Farms looked at SAP and Oracle but selected Dynamics GP because of its flexible design, customization and rich functionality could support Segrest Farms as its business grew, according to an I.B.I.S statement.

"We have already benefited from the cost analysis function and experienced increased productivity in our shipping routes," said Jack Bramlett, Vice President of Segrest Farms, in a statement.

Sutherland Global Services Taps Dynamics CRM Online

Sutherland Global Services has selected Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. The business process outsourcing firm evaluated several CRM platforms but chose Dynamics CRM Online based on its flexibility, customization capabilities and ease of use.

The platform was also easy for Sutherland consultants to leverage because of their familiarity with other Microsoft business solutions, such as .NET, SharePoint Online 2013, SQL Server and Microsoft Lync. Sutherland recently and successfully launched the first phase of the Dynamics CRM Online deployment.
