Harris to Develop Advanced Advertising Agency Platform Powered by Microsoft Dynamics AX

Harris Corp., an international communications and information technology company, and Microsoft have signed an agreement to enable Harris to develop an advanced advertising agency platform based on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to meet the accounting needs of global marketing organizations.

The Harris agency platform will address the financial management requirements of large agencies and holding companies. Beta testing is scheduled throughout the first half of 2012, with general availability expected in the third quarter of 2012.

Using Microsoft Dynamics AX, Harris will address the business process and collaboration needs of finance and production companies. The new solutions will support integration to the Harris Enterprise Agency Suite (EAS) for media management, a third-party media-buying platform.

The Harris agency platform will offer localized financial compliance to agencies and holding companies with multinational offices, to make it easier to manage the business in multiple geographies.
