Seasoned Executive To Lead Avanade Dynamics CRM Drive In Australia And APAC

Avanade, a business technology service provider, has named CharlieWood as its new Dynamics Service Line Lead, Director for Australia and AsiaPacific. Woods, who has over 15 years of experience in business IT, productmanagement and consulting services, will lead a team of solution advisors andarchitects across the Asia - Pacific region working primarily with MicrosoftDynamics CRM, the company said.

Wood has beensuccessful in delivering successful Dynamics CRM implementations to Avanade'scustomers in Australia and the Asia Pacific region, according to the company.Woods' job is to help Avanade grows its business across the region and acceleratesits role as a major force in technology innovation, company officials said.

Woods' appointmentcomes on the heels of Avanade Australia being named the Microsoft 2010 President's Club winner for Dynamics for delivering solutions that surpassedcustomer expectations, company officials said.

Before joiningAvanade, Woods spent nine years working for Microsoft in the UK, New Zealandand at Microsoft headquarters.
