How to Find the Lowest Price Available: Alex Chow, Microsoft Dynamics NAV MVP and author of the blog Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant discusses his assumption that NAV always found the lowest price available during a price search, and having a client point out that was not the case. He writes:

"Note that this scenario will only occur if an item has a Sales Price and a Sales Discount setup. If the Allow Line Discount is checked off on the Sales Price, NAV will not use the best price for the customer if a Line Discount gives a lower price for the customer.

It will always use the price on the Sales Price."

Chow worked with the client to get Navision to automatically find the lowest price available.

Breaking Down a NAV DEVteam Session: Waldo's Blog  author Eric Wauters summarizes a productive pre-conference session at the NAV7 Knowledge Transfer in Vedbæk, where senior developers hashed out fresh ideas for coding.
