Arrival Overview for Return Order in AX 2012 R3

On his blog, Abhijeet Hele noted that the Arrival overview form improves the overview of the items that are expected to arrive as incoming goods and the arrival can be initialized based on the overview.

Hele explained how to initiate the return of the goods through the arrival overview process.

Once the RMA (materials authorization) is created, you send the return report that includes the details of the items a company agreed to take back to that company.

At that point the Arrival overview, which provides an overview of items that will come as return from the customer, comes into play.

From there, you can initiate the item arrival process, which is described here.
