Generate custom upload to SharePoint in Dynamics CRM

On the Magnetism Solutions Dynamics CRM Blog, Miguel Nepomuceno stated that Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365 offers integration options and features available with SharePoint on-premises or online. However, he stated that for some clients, doing the SharePoint Integration isn't worth the setup.

For example, Nepomuceno stated that Magnetism encountered this situation when one of its clients wanted to integrate Dynamics CRM on-premises to SharePoint online.

They did not want to setup the out-of-the-box integration because of their limited infrastructure setup, and mainly to them not wanting to face a big data migration cost as they are hoping to upgrade to Dynamics 365 (Online) in the coming future.

Taking that into consideration, Magnetism implemented custom SharePoint logic in the client's CRM, such as creating a SharePoint folder for a CRM record using the SharePoint REST API.

Dynamics 365 on-premises auditing: Managing audit table size

On the PowerObjects blog, Joe D365 stated that with auditing configured in the system, Dynamics 365 field level changes can be written to the auditbase table in MS SQL. The challenge, though, is how to maintain audit history without creating an unmanageable database size over time, he stated.
