Bring predictability to your revenue pipeline with Dynamics 365 Sales

Writing on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Blog, Jigisha Deb stated that most companies use sales pipeline data to assess a very generalized picture of future sales.

However, Deb stated that if a company could standardize on top-performing sales processes and establish an accurate, targeted picture of the customer, the pipeline data would be more reliable and future sales would become more predictable.

In her blog post, Deb noted the two things that can help sales leaders better predict sales and explained how Dynamics 365 Sales can help them make more consistent data-driven decisions across the company rather than decisions based on guesswork.

Dynamics CRM plugin: caching using Azure Redis Cache

Writing on his Temmy Raharjo Blog, Raharjo stated that one of the most common issues that developers face revolves around caching data.

In Dynamics CRM on-premises you can use MemoryCache class to cache the data but since you can't directly access the server in the cloud version, the way to use the cached data is through an in-memory data store such as Azure Redis Cache.

Raharjo then explained how to set up the Azure Cache for Redis, how to set up the plugin project and deploy the plugin to your CRM environment.
