iPipeline Acquires GaleForce Solutions and Their Dynamics CRM-based Suite

iPipeline, a vendor of on-demand software that supports marketing, selling, and processing solutions for insurance companies has acquired Vancouver-based GaleForce Solutions, a provider of Dynamics CRM-based solutions with client management, productivity, compliance and security tools, as well as integrations to broker-dealers, banks, wealth management advisors, insurance agents, and other financial services professionals.

Based on Microsoft Dynamics, GaleForce Solutions are deployed either on-premise or online via their Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, according to the companies. The solutions are deployed through a global network of system-integration and reseller partners. Acquiring GaleForce gives iPipeline more key employees with CRM experience in financial services.

"The acquisition of GaleForce supports our strategy to penetrate the wealth management, banking and broker-dealer markets while expanding our capabilities in the insurance industry," said Tim Wallace, CEO, iPipeline, in a statement. "With customers in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania, we have taken the first step in creating a global footprint in the financial services industry."

With GaleForce's focus on CRM solutions designed to make advisors and agents more productive, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect business transactions, Wallace believes , the company and its SaaS-based model and solution portfolio fit perfectly with iPipeline's vision for the financial services industry.

"As part of iPipeline, we will offer our international client base additional product integrations to improve productivity, streamline processing activities, and automate workflows," said Kirk Herrington, Chief Technology Officer, GaleForce Solutions, in the statement.

Herrington said his company's client management, communication and discovery tools, which are accessed via Microsoft Outlook, enable businesses in the financial services industry to be more competitive.
