ExactTarget Announces New Email Marketing Integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online

ExactTarget, a global email marketing and interactive marketing provider, announced a new integrated solution to enable organizations to power marketing campaigns directly from Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Online.

The integration lets Dynamics CRM clients create, send, track and automate targeted email marketing campaigns directly from Dynamics CRM Online.

The integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and ExactTarget lets organizations use customer data housed in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online to create targeted email marketing campaigns to convert more inquiries into qualified leads and qualified leads into sales, as well as create life cycle marketing and automated alerts and notifications, according to company officials.

"Consumers' expectations for brands have never been higher, requiring marketers to become more relevant with engaging content delivered in real time," said Tim Kopp, ExactTarget chief marketing officer, in a statement. "With Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online integrated with ExactTarget, marketers can create interactive marketing campaigns tailored specifically to the unique needs, preferences and languages of customers or prospects around the world."

ExactTarget, a Microsoft Gold Certified ISV partner, reports that it already provides email marketing integration to more than 400 on-premise Dynamics CRM. They also reportedly provide global email marketing campaigns, confirmation emails and newsletters on behalf of Microsoft's global marketing team to customers in more than 80 countries around the world. It also powers Microsoft's global social media efforts through CoTweet, ExactTarget's social media product, the company said.

In September, ExactTarget partnered with ClickDimensions, a move that positioned ClickDimensions as the primary marketing automation solution for ExactTarget's Dynamics CRM integration. The move exposes ClickDimensions to ExactTarget's large sales team and potential customer base.
