#DynTech2016: Microsoft Builds Enthusiasm for New Dynamics AX with Technical Audience

by Jason Gumpert
Editor, MSDynamicsWorld.com

The new Microsoft Dynamics AX is all but live on Azure, and while a wide range of details are already known about the new release, today's Dynamics Technical Conference 2016 general sessions by AX leaders Dan Brown and Sri Srinivasan served to firm up key details and build enthusiasm for the new release - especially the changes that an Azure-first ERP solution brings.

The new AX is Azure centric, of course, and relies on Lifecycle Services (LCS) in a large and growing number of ways, as attendees noted on social media today. The new AX will also be turning to more and more Azure-based services to serve as key architectural and functional components.
