CWR Mobility Gets Key Win with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile Partnership

Our initial report on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM service update, known as either "R8" or the Q2 2012 Service Update, referenced CWR Mobility as a "development partner" for the mobile apps that will be delivered in the upcoming Microsoft release.  But as CWR Mobility explained in its own related release and in a new interview, their device-specific applications are a direct part of the upcoming Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile service and the adoption of these tools could allow CWR Mobility to position itself as the headline Dynamics CRM mobile app provider among several veteran players in the space. 

As CWR Mobility CEO Mark Corley explained in the company's official statement, "By adding the advanced capabilities of CWR Mobility's mobile solution to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft will make it much easier for businesses around the world to get closer to their customers and stay there."   In other words, the mobile apps that Dynamics CRM Mobile users install on their iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7, or BlackBerry device are the same apps that CWR  Mobility customers will be using as part of the solution vendor's on-premise solution, but with a different deployment model (a SaaS platform hosted by Microsoft) and under Microsoft branding. 

And as CWR Mobility continues to evolve the capabilities of CWR Mobile CRM, enhancements and updates will also become available in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile.
