Campus Management announced the upcoming release of CampusNexus Engage a solution based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the company's existing CRM offering that applies AI, machine learning, and business analytics to improve an institution's engagement with students.

Along with Dynamics 365, CampusNexus Engage is underpinned by Azure and Power BI and will be accessible through the Microsoft ecosystem.

"Major benefits to the solution in version 1 include the ability to utilize descriptive indicators to prescribe success plans to applicants and students," said Jennifer Beyer, vice president of product management for Campus Management. The product has the added goals of fostering engagement between academic staff and students, case management, and business intelligence.

"[CampusNexus Engage] is a higher education solution that goes beyond CRM to provide actionable insight and engagement tools to drive student and institutional success," Beyer added.

The solution is being tested by Campus Engagement customers. The list of 14 universities testing CampusNexus includes Kansas State University, Hope College, and Universidade Unigranrio in Brazil.

According to Beyer, the development of CampusNexus Engage was prompted by what Campus Management sees as a need for institutions to respond dynamically and collaboratively, across departments, with greater transparency. The software system will be released in December, 2018, with a preview of pricing available at some point during the summer.
