Avanade to Acquire German Microsoft Dynamics CRM Consultancy eConnex

Avanade, a business technology solutions and managed services provider, has signed an agreement to acquire eConnex, a Microsoft Dynamics CRM consulting firm based in Germany. The acquisition will enhance Avanade's Dynamics CRM capabilities in Europe. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition of eConnex will allow Avanade to offer a more Microsoft Dynamics CRM services, solutions and delivery models, including on-premises and cloud-based deployments to clients throughout Europe. And the eConnex acquisition will bring in-depth xRM capabilities, which use Microsoft Dynamics CRM as an application platform to build a rich variety of relationship management solutions.

Alexander Eck, CEO of eConnex, said his company decided it needed a partner to take better advantage of Microsoft technology.

Founded in 1996, eConnex achieved Microsoft Gold Partner status in 2006 and became a partner in Microsoft's President's Club for Microsoft Dynamics in 2010. eConnex completed more than 100 CRM projects completed in industries like communications, high tech, chemical and healthcare for such companies as Nikon GmbH, Konica Minolta, Pentax, TUI Cruises, Telegaertner, Hobby Wohnwagenwerk, Nordex SE, Gigaset, Bayerischer Rundfunk and others.

Avanade has more than 600 Dynamics CRM consultants globally, and has deployed more than 120,000 seats. Avanade is a Microsoft Gold partner for Microsoft Dynamics CRM and was named Microsoft Dynamics CRM partner of the Year in 2009 and 2010.
