Analysts note Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM growth, roadmap evolution at Fall Analyst Event 2014

Enterprise software analysts are meeting in the Kirkland, Washington this week for Microsoft's annual Dynamics Fall Analyst Event. It's a well-regarded get together judging by feedback in past years like 2010, 2012, and 2013. Analysts routinely credit the Microsoft analyst relations team with providing access to a substantive mix of Microsoft executives (MBS president Kirill Tatarinov and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella are this year's headliners), customers, and top partners.

Fall Analyst Events tend to have a bit of "biggest year ever" flavor to them, no matter what the year. Twitter has given those of us not on the grounds of Kirkland's Woodmark Hotel a chance to gauge minute by minute impressions coming from some of the most influential voices in the enterprise software industry - people who routinely influence product direction for vendors and advise on seven and eight figure purchasing decisions by some of the biggest enterprises in the world.

The importance of being positive yet frank with the analyst community is not lost on Microsoft, and analysts typically commend the company for the quality of information they can take away from these events. For example, Microsoft explained that Dynamics now has five distinct paths along which it will be delivering solutions.
