AKA to offer Dynamics AX, CRM solutions in Microsoft cloud for US government

Microsoft Dynamics AX and CRM partner AKA Enterprise Solutions has taken advantage of the new Microsoft cloud for US government, announcing recently that their offerings will now be available in the new compliant platform.

Doing business with government entities has unique hurdles. Investments need to be made upfront as prerequisites before companies can create repeatable business and gain market share, says Alan Kahn, Managing Director at AKA.. Getting an approved GSA 70 - a long-term contract issued by the U.S. General Services Administration to a commercial technology vendor - would be an example of that.

"I see the Microsoft Cloud for Government as a similar investment both for Microsoft and for AKA," Kahn says. "Governments need highly secure, highly confidential environments if they are to put information into the cloud. Microsoft and AKA have made our solutions available to be consumed in this way as a means of clearing a necessary prerequisite."
