2015 Microsoft Dynamics Professionals Salary Survey finds climbing pay, favorable views of the product line

This week Nigel Frank International releases its Dynamics salary survey results for 2014-15, providing a snapshot of the workforce in Dynamics today, both in the US and worldwide. For starters, the new report reveals the bottom line for professionals in the field continues to improve, with even salary increases going up.

This survey saw an 8.5% average global salary rise over the two-year period it studied. Salaries had seen a 4% increase last time Nigel Frank International released a comparable report, two years ago, however that increase was over a single year.

Workload for consultants in the Dynamics workforce also went up, with the new report finding that 60% of the survey’s respondents (comprising 18,426 Dynamics professionals across 131 countries) reported they’ve been busier these past 12 months compared to the 12 months previous.

Customer satisfaction with Dynamics is palpable too, with 91% of all survey respondents worldwide saying they’d be happy recommending Microsoft Dynamics products to someone outside their organization.

This fact might be further expressed in the survey’s finding that 40.5% of Dynamics end users around the globe are planning an upgrade over the coming year, a number that’s risen markedly from the last survey’s 28%.

On the flipside, the survey also charted the top challenges to implementations of Dynamics products, the first of which was data migration (with 51% of respondents highlighting it), lack of appropriate skills (37%) and user adoption (34%) rounding out the top three.
