5th Annual IT and ERP Research Project by Crowe Horwath and American Metal Market
The survey elicited responses from more than 200 high-level executives at companies ranging in size from less than $50 million to more than $1 billion in annual revenue. The companies represented a cross section of metals-based companies including mills, producers, processors, service centers, scrap
recyclers, manufacturers, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers.
The following pages present an initial summary of survey responses, providing a snapshot of the state of IT and ERP systems in the metals industry today, including the strengths and weaknesses executives perceive in their current systems.
